THE BELFAST HANDBELL CHOIR

Ringing the Changes for Peace

Saturday 20th March 2004 was an International day of peace, called Earth Day. On this day, the U.N. peace bells in New York and Geneva rang out and countries all over the world joined in, with church bells ringing across the globe in a symbol of humanity’s common desire for peace.

As part of this event, the Belfast Handbell Choir, a team of talented young people, along with their conductor, gave a recital in St Thomas' Church.
