THE MOTHERS' UNION

The purpose of the Mothers' Union is to promote and encourage Christian and family life.  The Mothers' Union Branch in St Thomas' Church was established in 1906.

The Branch Chairman is Mrs Evelyn Lewis and members are involved at both area and diocesan levels in all aspects of Mothers' Union work.

The Branch meets in the Parish Hall on the fourth Thursday of each month at 7.30 pm.  New members are always welcome.

St Thomas’s Mothers’ Union, having been founded in 1906, held

Mothers' Union Prayer
Loving Lord
We thank you for your love so freely given to us all.
We pray for families around the world.
Bless the work of the Mothers' Union as we seek to share your love through the encouragement, strengthening and support of marriage and family life.
Empowered by your Spirit, may we be united in prayer and worship, and in love and service reach out as your hands across the world.
In Jesus' name.
Amen
